The Two Mile Ash Initial Teacher Training Partnership
TMA ITT Partnership is currently the only primary based accredited provider of school based teacher training directly serving Milton Keynes. Now successfully into our ninth year, we have maintained our provision and have an allocation of 21 Graduate Trainee Teachers. We are committed to recruiting and training skilled, competent teachers who, as far as possible, are from within the local community. Under represented groups are encouraged to take up places on our Graduate Teacher Programme both in support of TDA targets and local needs.
We are expanding the Programme to incorporate "Self-Funded" trainees from schools already employing unqualified teachers with the necessary qualifications, skills and knowledge to gain QTS. This is to meet the high demand for teachers in the Milton Keynes area.
We are also offering an "Assessment-only" route for Overseas Trained Teachers to gain QTS in order to increase the spectrum of diversity within Milton Keynes schools and create a workforce more representative of society.
